Two Trainers Awol and top 3 stay top 3. This is the Power Rankings for Week 6 & 7.
1...In Week 6 Game 1, Barchun dominated the first match with only two Pokémon fainting. However, the second game was a different story, winning by another controversial time-lapse with three Pokémon left. His top performers continue to be Ursoluna, averaging a KDA of 3 or higher; Salazzle, averaging a KDA of 2 or higher; and Hawlucha, averaging a KDA of 3 or higher. His second opponent in the past two weeks was Isaac. Unfortunately, Isaac lost his Pokémon in an unfortunate event, and the game has been postponed. Barchun's week eight matchup is MrKumaD. Barchun must ensure he wins this one to clinch his spot in the Playoffs.
2. Noah's Week 6 matchup was against Isaac, and due to competing requirements was not able to battle on the regular timeline. Noah was supposed to battle him on Sunday, 10 February, but due to unforeseen circumstances, Isaac lost all his Pokémon in an unfortunate event. Noah's Week 7 matchup was RyeRyebguy, where Noah had another dominating performance, losing three Pokémon in game 1, and in game 2, he only lost 1. The only way Noah doesn't make the Playoffs is if he loses to Steven and Flak 3; if he beats one of them, he will secure his spot in the Playoffs.
3. Stevens was supposed to play in his week seven matchup against Blaze, but the match has been postponed due to a loss of power at the stadium. Steven's next matchup is Noah. This next battle will be between the two titans. Whoever wins this game will establish themselves as the number 1 spot in the league. This is a must for Steven to secure his number one spot in the Scarlet division. Steven loses a playoff spot only by losing his next two games, and MarkumaD wins all of his.
4. Blaze, with superior Pokémon, was able to outperform Ryryebguy. His first match kept his opponent off guard, with his Auzimaril getting a KDA of 4/1/0. However, this trainer needs to work on maintaining that performance throughout a three-game series. In fact, in game two, RyryebGuy was able to adapt, resulting in a close win for Blaze with only one Pokémon left. The Blaze Week 7 matchup was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. If Blaze doesn't return, his matches will be counted as a draw and he will be pushed into the knockout round. Hopefully, Blaze's home stadium will have the power back on, and he can perform again. His next opponent is supposed to be Isaac.
5. Billy took Steven to a 1v1 matchup, with Steven getting the better hand. Though Billay lost, it shows if he practices, he can beat one of the top competitors in the league. Lokix, Donphan, and Pyroar all played well, getting a Knockout, Faint, and Assist ratio of 1 or better. But it just wasn't enough to beat the Scarlet Division Leader. In week 7, TT-Bone was battling to be back in the Playoff hunt, and Billay was fighting to stay in the Playoffs. So, this game had zero hold bars for both trainers. The game went down to Obi-Wan and Pyroar on the field; whoever won would win the game. Obi-Wan used its Psychic powers to create a future attack. Pyroars movepool, shocked the crowd as Lioness breathed out a roar, creating a Dark Pulse, almost taking out Obi-Wain. Obi-Wan failed its last protection, resulting in the Lioness using one more Dark pulse to finish him. Billy is still in the Playoff for the next two games. He has to win not to go into the knockout round, and he must have Pyroar play, as well as she did with a KDA in the last two games; 4/1/0.
6. Mr. KumaD keeps impressing the league with his performance. This trainer has now broken a UPFC League record, surpassing Steven's by getting four wins during the regular season, the most for a rookie. He did this by defeating two veterans, TT-Bone and Flak3. The hero of both games' battles was Magikarp (Sunflora), with a KDA for both games 4/2/0. MrkumaD even has the possibility of making the playoffs. If he defeats Barchun in Week 8 and Barchun loses his last two games, he will earn the number two spot in the Playoffs.
7. Flak3 has disappointed his fan base for the past two weeks. He lost a nail-biter to Hayden by a controversial times lapse, and in week 7 lost to a rookie. This has been Flak3's worst performance yet in the UPFC League, with only two wins. Though Pika has a good KDA of 1.5 and Bossk has a kDA of 2.2, it still needs to be more to start winning games. Flak3 may just be releasing his Pokémon team for good after UPFC III, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't try to go out with a bang during the Knockout Phase.
8. TT-Bone has been underperforming in the past three weeks. Wishes the leading assist Pokémon has fallen to the top 4 after the week 6 & 7 matchups. MrKumaD just flat-out caught him off guard, and Shamshiel hasn't been consistent either, with his KDA dropping to 2.13. TT-Bone will not get a playoff seed due to his third loss against Billy. Billy was more tactically proficient in this matchup. If TT-bone wants to start winning games, he must practice to win. Though Ryeryebguy isn't in the Playoffs, this matchup will be an excellent precursor to the Knockout Round.
9. RyeryebGuy lost to the rookie Blaze. After a dismal start, RyeryebGuy adjusted and took Blaze to only one Pokémon left. His PG tips was warm during the match, getting a KDA of 2/2/0. It's better than his previous matchup of getting a complete goose egg. Ryeryebguy's Week 7 matchup was the top seed in his division, Noah. Noah dominated this matchup, leaving the previously mentioned Pokémon with a KDA of 1/2/0. If RyeryebGuy wants to win his next matchup against TT-Bone, he will have to set up PG Tips so it can steamroll the competition, like she did in week 1. Though this match is not for a playoff seed, it indicates what the knockout round will look like.
10. Isaac's beloved Pokemon, Mighty, is now officially on a walkout due to the constant losses against other trainers. Isaac is working on a way to troubleshoot the problem, but rumor has it that his entire team fled from their Pokeballs. Isaac can only pray and hope they return to finish the season.
